Designed as a light-weight sketching piano, the VS Upright No. 1 is a clean sampling of an upright piano, the standard of homes, small clubs and studios around the world. With a broad dynamic range and a bright, clear tone, the upright can still display a soft side when needed. Features 3 velocity layers with 2 RR; sampled in tritones with a pair of wide, close mics. Full decays up to 30 seconds were recorded. In the basement of a Berklee College of Music dorm, there lives a few lonely Yamaha upright pianos in small practice rooms. These rooms were often quiet, and, being a welcome solace to the stresses of pursuing a career in music, became a welcome spot to improvise in peace. One day in 2014 I decided to bring along a few mics and try sampling one of the pianos, as I had at the time not yet attempted to sample a piano. Dizztroy 2 is a bitcrush/overdrive/distortion vst effect plugin which is made for soft and heavy audio distortion. It is perfect to blow up your drum loops or lead synths, making badass hardcore kicks, or completely destroy your signal to sound like a broken fm radio. It contains a bitcrusher, sample rate reducer, 8 overdrive/distortion algorithms with a low- and highpass filter, a waveshape distortion with a peak filter, a filter with 5 different filter types and a global highpass filter to round up the perfect dizztroying machine. Additionally it offers you an envelope follower and a very flexible multisegment envelope generator to modulate the different parameters. All FX can be placed on the preferred position in the signal chain easily via drag and drop. One of the big deals what Dizztroy offers to you is that you can draw the waveshape of the distortion by yourself, with the smooth button you can round off your envelope step by step to shape the perfect distortion, after shaping you can save the shape to one of the 4 snapshots or to your hard drive if you destroyed the perfect waveshape by mistake just undo up to 10 steps. Repeat-X is a multi-effect/stutter FX vst plugin, it is designed for manipulating audio in realtime and offers you 9 effect algorithms. Effect parameters can be modulated synchronized to the host program. All parameters can be assigned to your controller using MIDI learn, and each effect can be positioned in the signal chain using a wiring system known as Signal flow. The key parts of Repeat X are the step sequencers for each FX.
